Description

SH Series plates

Contamination sensitivity: heated titanium reacts readily with oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen. Clean surfaces, clean tooling and effective inert-gas shielding are essential.
Heat sensitivity: excessive or inconsistent heat input can increase distortion, discoloration and joint defects.
Thin corrugated geometry: variable fit-up and limited edge thickness require accurate positioning and a stable welding process.
